The Pilot Club of South Brevard was chartered July 17, 1961, as a local organization under the umbrella of Pilot International, a classified civic and service organization with headquarters in Macon Georgia

It is a service organization of executive, business and professional leaders working together to improve the quality of life in our communities.

Friendship And Service Throughout The World

Plot International was founded and chartered in 1921 as an international service organization. The river boat pilots of the early 1900's are the inspiration for the name. These pilots were admired for their ability to steer a "true course" through challenging conditions and obstacles.

Today, Pilot International has approximately 400 clubs and more than 25,000 adult and youth members.

Pilot International has had eighty-seven exciting years of history-making service programs and projects.

Our rich heritage of Pilot Friendship and Service began in 1927 when the Pilot Club of Pensacola, Florida was chartered. We have grown from the Gulf shores of the Florida Panhandle to the Atlantic shores from Jacksonville to Miami. By 1988 the number of clubs in the Florida District had multiplied so dramatically that Florida became one of only three Districts in Pilot International to adopt regionalization. There are six districts, Northwest, Northeast, West Central, East Central, Southeast, and Southwest.
